SAMA32 Splits Host Duties for August 2026 Ceremony at Sun City

SAMA32 has locked in its full hosting lineup for the 15 August 2026 ceremony at Sun City Resort in the North West Province, splitting the broadcast responsibilities across two distinct assignments.

Anele Zondo will lead the SAMA32 Industry Awards, the segment dedicated to producers, directors, engineers and creative professionals who typically work outside the public spotlight. Fresh By Caddy and Munaka Muthambi take the red carpet, managing designer fashion coverage, celebrity arrivals, exclusive interviews and backstage access as guests arrive ahead of the main show.

The appointments follow the earlier announcement of hosts for the main awards broadcast, completing the on-air team for what organisers describe as one of South Africa’s largest entertainment calendar events. SAMA spokesperson Unati Gwija framed both selections as deliberate operational choices. “The Industry Awards celebrate the incredible talent and craftsmanship that drive our music industry behind the scenes, and Anele Zondo brings the charisma, professionalism and stage presence needed to honour those achievements,” Gwija said. “At the same time, Fresh By Caddy and Munaka Muthambi have become some of the country’s most engaging entertainment personalities, making them the perfect duo to capture the excitement, fashion and unforgettable moments that unfold before guests enter the main stage.”

Zondo’s role is positioned to bring what organisers call elegance, humour and infectious energy to a segment built around recognising excellence in the South African recording industry’s less visible ranks.
